Last week, we reported the publication of the list of Ecodesign standards for tumble driers. Today we can report that the European Commission published the references of the Ecodesign standards for washing machines.
The standards that are published in the Official Journal of the European Union are:
EN 60456:2011 – Clothes washing machines for household use — Methods for measuring the performance IEC 60456:2010 (Modified)
EN 60704-2-4:2012 – Household and similar electrical appliances — Test code for the determination of airborne acoustical noise — Part 2-4: Particular requirements for washing machines and spin extractors
IEC 60704-2-4:2011 (Modified)
