Whenever there is an incident with a product, there are many persons that stand up and demand stricter regulations. However, a product may always fail. There is no product that is 100% safe. Stricter regulations will not prevent incidents in the future. The purpose of regulation is to reduce the chance of incidents to a maximum extend. This is the purpose of the European Union regulations.
